Asphalt 8: Airborne is a free multiplayer racing game and the eighth installment of the Asphalt series. Gameloft has gone above and beyond by updating 80 percent of the fleet with brand-new cars. The fancier models aren't available at the start, although you can unlock them as you win circuits and earn points. The vehicles are, on the whole, very well designed and true to the originals. In addition, to control the cars, you can choose different combinations. You can use commands entirely from the screen, the accelerometer on your device to steer the vehicles, or both at the same time.
As for the graphics, this game is as good as before and even better, with detailed universes and lighting effects that are quite impressive. The new physics engine shows what it can do when slowing down for collisions with competitors, and when debris is swirling on the screen. When it comes to music that can keep up with the fast pace of the races in this game, three catchy styles of music make you want to smash everything on the road. However, while the game offers multiplayer options, players may feel that the rewards system doesn’t adequately compensate for time and effort.
Updated features of this thrilling racing game
With its updated properties, the game has added the isle of Tenerife, which brings with it four tracks to burn your way around. You can enjoy these courses with the game's eight new supercars. These include the Lamborghini Aventador and Audi R8 LMS Ultra, which join the diamond-encrusted Lykan HyperSport on the starting grid. The game also introduced a range of new vehicles, events, and improved gameplay features aimed at enhancing the player experience.
Gameloft introduced several new vehicles, such as the Apollo Evo, VLF Force 1, and Ford Mustang Mach E 1400. Overall, Asphalt 8: Airborne has changed very little from the previous version, with the same philosophy and gameplay as before. What's changed are the environments and cars, the even more spectacular slow motion, and springboards located around the circuit.
